Solillaquist of Sound

I came across this hip hop group called Solillaquist of Sound, when I was looking for interesting music on my "On Demand" section of my Verizon cable. They truly blew my mind. Not only is it a fresh take on hip hop itself, but really just a fresh sound in general. They give me a similar feel to that which I get from Ozomatli, K'Naan, or even Bob Marley. In watching the video "Marvel" I caught myself with my jaw dropped wide open. I had to chuckle because it has been a while since a hip hop group was able to do that. Please enjoy.

This is a new blog I want to dedicate to the discovery of new and old music alike. I figure since I love music and geek out on it, then I should start writing about it. Hopefully this will interest you and you can share some cool music with me. I think what I'll do is just post new music or videos or whatever and we'll go from there. So we'll start with a street performer that was introduced to me by my brother. He goes by the name DubFX and he is really amazing. He uses his voice like a guitar, using foot pedals and effects.
